Fabulous food for breakfast in the restaurant. Marvellous and lovely location close to Old Quarter. In the touristic area with restaurants and bars close to the hotel.

rooftop swimming pool, centrally located marketplace, gym facilities
The room's lighting could be brighter, especially in the bathroom!!! A good scrub and some TLC for the floor would improve the overall cleanliness!!! The thermostat control in the room needs better calibration!!!

A 3-star hotel aspiring to provide 5-star service quality. Staff helpfulness is heart warming. The biggest hiccup was due to the day tour booking. I ended up with an adventure of my life because of the hugely compromised safety measure and long hours of waiting as the overloaded tour guide tried to coordinate for 54 tourists. Other points of concern are the noise level from the street and water heater, and occasional slack hygiene practice by one or two staff serving breakfast. Overall, value for money.

The hotel was excellent value for money! Well located in the old town but provides a much needed escape from the noise and traffic. Staff were excellent - all spoke good english and went out of their way to be helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good.

Desktop computer provided in room with free net access. Location very central. Large room, good ensuite. Hotel not pushy about tours and respect privacy. Staff helpful when required and always friendly.
Bath tub too small. Hard beds. Breakfast very average.

Within 24 hours of our booking the hotel they had emailed me to find if they could help with airport transfers and booking sight seeing trips. I took advantage of both offers which were paid for at the end of our stay not at the time of booking. On arrival we were met by the manager personally and that set the tone for our stay in Hanoi.
The Tirant Hotel was an oasis of calm in a very busy part of Hanoi. Initially we found it a bit of a culture shock but on our second stay found it less shocking.

Friendliness of staff, good service and attentiveness. Good attitude, willingness to help. Hotel location in the old quarter is excellent though a little noisy at night.

From the day when I check in tirant hotel, every staff seems to be cheerful providing a great service. Everyone seems to be greeting you no matter day or night. That is truely great customer service. A wonderful and cozy hotel in the middle of a bustling old quater.

The staff were excellent.............all the things that make a hotel stay great were there if the staff were involved.
Sadly, the ongoing renovations meant that many of the hotels facilities were not accessible.

Satisfactory breakfast with views for all tastes. Refreshing drinks at rooftop bar, marvellous service. Nice pool area too. Magnificent, fantastic location in Hanoi, next to lively area of the old town as well as the center of Hanoi. Besides, excellent for visiting Temple of the Jade Mountain.

We visited Hoan Kiem Lake and explored the vibrant Old Quarter. The location is ideal for walking to local sites, and the rooftop bar has wonderful views to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Staff were helpful.
One downside was the breakfast area on the 13th floor, which has a raised step and caused a few guests to trip. Just be cautious when walking around there.

Upstairs bar is not yet finished, will be good once done
